What the project is for
The Spearfish Upgrade Programme will deliver in-service an upgraded submarine launched heavy-weight Torpedo that is safe, sustainable and capable of defeating modern Antisubmarine Warfare and Anti-Surface Warfare threats in order to retain the UK’s dominance of the Underwater Battlespace.
